after a long wait, i finally made it to new york. i'm so glad i'm not driving.
my favorite state- because it's small, like me.

excuse me- which way to the little gnomes room? i had one too many frosty beverages.
the next day (july 25th), we headed over to the land of maple syrup, maple ice cream, maple fudge, maple leaves, and maple candies- vermont. since the only way to get to vermont from maine is to drive through new hampshire, we tried to pick the most scenic route possible, which took us through both the white mountains and jefferson, nh- home of santa's village.
